CO-EDITOR-IN-CHIEF

Alex (she/they) is a poet and artist from upstate New York, studying Gender & Sexuality Studies, English, and Studio Art. She is currently working on an Honors Thesis exploring the potential of fiber craft for queer archival practice. She joined Sunset Press Sophomore year as a writer, publishing In Your Car, and has had the immense honor of serving as Editor-in-Chief ever since. If she could spend the rest of her life floating in a body of water, holding hands with her best friend, she would.

CO-EDITOR-IN-CHIEF

Niamh (she/her) is a writer and artist from New Jersey, majoring in English (creative writing) and Sociology with a Law and Society concentration. She has been involved with Sunset Press since 2022, editing Alex’s book and then serving as Head Editor for Will. As Co-EIC she has found immeasurable joy working with her fellow EIC’s and contributing to the rare, beautiful, creative community that is Sunset Press. When Niamh isn’t writing, reading or editing, you can probably find her hiking in the woods or with her cat! She loves her friends, her pets, and Sunset Press.

CO-EDITOR-IN-CHIEF

Stephanie Chang (she/they) is a writer and editor from Vancouver, Canada. Her work appears in The Rumpus, The Kenyon Review, Strange Horizons, Hobart Pulp, Penn Review, and Berkeley Poetry Review, among others. She won the 2021 Adroit Prize for Poetry, judged by Carl Phillips. Her poem was included in the 2023 Best of the Net Anthology and awarded a Special Mention in the 2023 Pushcart Prize Anthology. Previously, she interned at The Metropolitan Museum of Art and currently serves as a Curatorial Associate at The Gund and Visual Art Intern at The Kenyon Review. She studies Art History, English, and Creative Writing.

Emma London (she/her) is a writer and editor from California, majoring in English with an emphasis in Creative Writing. She joined Sunset Press as a freshman, and has loved every minute since. She worked as a Press Editor on Cosmic Rice and In Your Car, and now has the honor of serving as Co-Editor-in-Chief. She is also an associate at the Kenyon Review. In her free time, you can find her reading, laughing with friends, and updating her Goodreads.

EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT

Mihir Lennox (he/him) is a writer and editor from various cities in Switzerland and Massachusetts, majoring in English with a creative writing emphasis and French and German. He first joined Sunset Press as an editor for Nicole Wang's chapbook Babyface in his freshman year and now serves as executive assistant head press editor for Prarthana Aggarwal's forthcoming chapbook. When not working with Sunset Press, Mihir spends his free time writing, reading, cooking, foraging, and hanging out with his birds.

EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT

Will (he/him) is a Sociology and English major who loves to read and write poetry. He published Burner Boys with Sunset Press in 2023, and is now a proud member of Sunset's new Zine Team. He's an Oklahoman, a brother, and a friend of many poets. One day he hopes to publish more books and maybe learn how to garden. Until then, he's looking for book recommendations — as long as they are available in audio format — and trying to find time to journal.

SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER • HEAD EDITOR

Matthew Toth (he/they) is a writer and editor from Pasadena, California, majoring in English (creative writing) and minoring in Religious Studies. Matthew began working with Sunset in 2023 as a press editor for Burner Boys by Will Madden. In 2024, he became Sunset's social media manager, as well as the head press editor for Blake Ciresa's forthcoming chapbook. He has been a Kenyon Review associate for over a year now. When he isn't writing or reading, Matthew loves playing guitar and making new Spotify playlists for every occasion.

HEAD PRESS EDITOR

Tess (she/her) is a poet, journalist and avid reader from New York City. At Kenyon, she majors in English and Gender and Sexuality studies. She is captivated by writing that is playful and provocative in all senses: thematically, formally, and rhythmically. In her free time you can find her dancing, being silly with friends, or nestled under the covers with a good book.

HEAD PRESS EDITOR

Stella Menkov (she/her) is an editor from New Hampshire. She fell in love with Sunset Press's vibrant community of writers and editors in 2022, when she began working on Phoebe Houser’s Overgrowth, and now has the privilege of leading the editing team for Hayden Fletcher’s chapbook. She enjoys translating, journaling, and writing vignettes, as well as taking road trips. In her limited free time, you can find her curled up with a cup of earl grey, listening to music, and scribbling or reading, or perhaps roasting some root vegetables.

WEB MANAGER

Daisy Newbury (she/her) is a storyteller from Boston, MA. She has been teaching herself to code for the better part of a decade, finally dipping her toes into the realm of web design in her senior year of high school. If she had to pick, her favorite website is Wikipedia. In addition to an interest in journalism, Daisy also enjoys reading and writing short fiction, primarily magical realism and sci-fi/fantasy. In her free time, she enjoys animating, puppetry, and solving puzzles. She has a not-so-secret soft spot for octopuses and outer space.
